What does the programme offer?
Ready to grow supports existing and aspiring BAMER social enterprises in a number of ways to ensure a continuous, in-depth and individualised approach.
Over the next three years, each social enterprise on the programme will have access to:
* 12 days of one-to-one business & consultancy support
The one to one support will be tailored to each enterprise and include a wide management areas such as strategic planning and assistance with writing business plans, access to finance, funding and income generation, help with legal structure and governance issues, marketing, financial management, monitoring and evaluation...[Please note: one-to-one support all allocated]
* Access to over 60 training workshops
Ready to grow will run around two workshops each month. The workshops will cover topics specific to social enterprise at different stages of development. Programme members will be able to suggest other areas depending on their needs.
Workshops topics include: Starting a Social Enterprise, Creating a Winning Strategy, Financial Management, Measuring your Impact, Marketing for Social Enterprise, Successful Tendering...
* Networking events
Ready to grow will run a number of networking events for its members to share best practice and engage with commissioners, funders and other entrepreneurs. Special guests from successful commercial businesses, social entreprises and ethical businesses will be invited to talk about their journey and answer your questions.
* An online resource specifically for social enterprise
This online resource for social enterprise will include access to our social enterprise business diagnostic, funding and access to finance information, useful links, templates and tips for your business plans, forecasts and financial information.
