How to apply
Ready to Grow offers ongoing training workshops and events for social enterprise as well as an in-depth business support and capacity-building programme. Click here to download our application form.
Eligibility
Ready to Grow is a social enterprise support programme open to all BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) led organisations based and operating in London. Although the training element is open to all eligible organisations that register with us, the business support programme is competitive.
We have a very limited number of spaces available for existing and established social enterprises looking to grow or become more sustainable. Unfortunaely, we are no longer recruiting start-ups and pre-start ups.
Social Enterprises that do not meet the eligibility criteria for this programme should contact our team for information on training and other support available.
Ready to Grow is providing a number of support activities that you can access for FREE until March 2011. The programme offers training workshops, networking events and access to an online resource for social enterprise. A number of organisations will also be entitled to 12 days of one-to-one capacity building and business advice (applications for this support to re-open in September 09).
Ready to Grow is aimed at existing and aspiring social enterprises that meet the following criteria:
- BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic background or Refugee) led organisation (more than 50% of the board of directors/trustees)
- Frontline organisations (engaging directly with people through services or support)
- London based
- Trading or intending to trade to meet social or environmental objectives
